MENG DS-007 1/72 DUNE ATREIDES ORNITHOPTER MAKETİ

Unassembled plastic model kit in 1/72 scale of a Sci-Fi Atreides Ornithopter from Dune universe, an  epic science fiction novel by Frank Herbert also adapted to cinemas two times, in 1984 (by David Lynch) and in 2021 (and 2024, part two) by Denis Villeneuve, from which this model is adapted, as seen in the 2021 film.

Model allows several different positions for wings as well as for landing gear, allowing model to be displayed as flying or in land. The model is clearly inspired in a Dragonfly flying insect.

Meng has released other kits based on the Dune Part Two film (2024), but this is the first one in 1/72 scale. In the gallery below you can find a comparison picture with the previous Ornithopter kit released. This kit measures around 720mm wingspan and its length is about 318mm, making it a big model.
